DraftWesleyClark.com Responds to “Clark as VP” Reports
(Washington, DC) Responding to published reports that the Dean campaign has reached out to General Clark as a potential Vice President, DraftWesleyClark.com reiterated today that it is attempting to draft General Clark for President.
“Many of us in the Clark camp are fans of Governor Dean, and think he would be great on a ticket with Clark – as Vice President,” said John Hlinko, Co-Founder of DraftWesleyClark.com. “Yes, Clark-Dean would be a great ticket, because once the General got done with the Republicans, they would need a doctor.”
I thought that was a GREAT soundbite!

Besides, this way we will not have to risk loosing any safe senate seats such as Graham in Florida or Kerry in Mass!

9. Your Senate logic is impeccable and very pertinent. |
|
However, if they were somewhat "safe", could they probably (read highly) be won by other dems? Both, Graham particularly I think, may be good VP choices.
I envision a pivotal, landslide Clark victory with coattails. But I'm probably getting dreamy from all the bad universe we're passing through. So, brother, be careful with that Senate.

4. Now I have to be fair. . . |
|
. . .if I am going to poo poo Clark being Dean's VP, I must also poo poo Dean being Clark's VP. Lets just get a nominee before we talk about a VP. But of course I do like the sound of it. . .

6. It's a shame DraftWesleyClark doesn't actually speak for Clark. |
|
Or is even officially associated with him.
We could put an end to rumor one way or the other.
This will be an interesting week for both camps

...that might (or might not) throw my theory about "Wesley Clark the VP" out the window. Maybe it's the Dean camp (or Rove) or someone else that spreading all of these rumors about "Clark the VP." They sure are doing a good job of it - because it is all over the place.
If Clark is REALLY a TRUE candidate for President - someone is really pulling a number on him.
There's 4 possibilities:
1) The guy behind draftwesleyclark.com never gives up 1) Rove and the Pubs are running scared 2) Dean & Co. are master manipulators 3) Clark is being coy....
