10. Great! I was beginning to think it was on the back burner,
or being overshadowed by Bush's SS scam, the War, etc.
Although we have to remain vigilant, and active on all the issues that matter, without Electoral integrity, nothing else matters- they can and will remain in power and have no accountability at all. At least some in Congress still have some anxiety about upsetting their constituents, but if the current trends towards fraud continue, even that will disappear.

And it look slike the vote just happened - did anyone see what happened? Did he bring it up? Was there a debate?

I think the amendment lost by 189 to 283 or so...

20. Why would Republicans be against fair elections?
Are you casting aspersions upon them?

24. That's states' rights; ex-felons are allowed to vote in most states.
Here in Texas, they automatically regain the right 2 years after completing their sentence.

28. Am I missing something??
Every amendment offered by the Dems doesn't get ONE Repug vote. Yet every amendment offered by repugs or the bill itself gets lots of Dems voting along with the Repugs.

Seems like this is the Repug version of bi-partisanship and maybe the Dems should learn to play it better.
