Talking Points = World War III?
Edited on Thu Sep-11-03 07:02 PM by eleny
All over conservative radio and I guess tv,too, they're parroting that we're involved in World War III. I guess that locks in Bush being a war time president until kingdom come.

I don't particularly like roller coasters. But I bet even I would start yawning if I rode one every blessed day. You can only stay afraid for just so long before it gets like the dumb color codes of fear.

:scared:  :tinfoilhat: :boring:

A 'World War' is defined as a war on multiple continents, and we do have troops deployed on multiple continents.

So if you think the 'war on terror' is an appropriate name for our actions (I don't), this _is_ technically World War III.

5. War on Poverty? War on Drugs?
This can't be WWIII. It has to be at least WW V.
