One advantage I see in nominating Clark |

He might be the one candidate in the race who can bring both progressive/populist and DLC, and pro and anti-Israel, Democrats together. Because he's basically a blank slate, and doesn't have either a voting or governing record, he has made less enemies. This, plus his military background, could make him the strongest general election candidate.
This doesn't mean he'd make the best candidate on the issues. And I probably wouldn't support him in the primary. But it's food for thought.

We do need a uniter not a divider. I still like Edwards, because I think he could also unite the party, because of his personal magnatism.
