Group tries to rally anti-gay TV protest |
|
The politically conservative Montana Family Coalition said it is launching a media campaign against the increase of gay content on television, with the hit show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" being the group's main target.
Julie Millam, director of the coalition, said the group will direct its protest to companies that advertise on the highly rated show, which she called "outrageous."
"To me, that's not a reality show about gay people," Millam told the Billings Gazette. "A really good reality show for gay people would be five gay men dying of AIDS." =====================================
***JULIE DID NOT GO ON TO SAY, BUT WAS SURELY THINKING, "A REALITY SHOW ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE WOULD BE BROKEN FAMILIES EATING WATERMELLON FOR DINNER, FOR ASIANS, IT WOULD BE A SHOW ABOUT BAD DRIVERS, HISPANICS, ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS WHO CAN'T SPEAK GOD'S CHOSEN LANGUAGE, ENGLISH..."
Perhaps Julie, you should spend less time as the Gay Show Nazi and more time educating yourself about life. I know you're happily isolated in Montana, but I bet you could drive to a near-by state and purchase a remote control for your TV. They make them now you know.
