JEFFGANNON.ORG: asking for submissions and comments

DutchDemocrat and I have been working hard to get jeffgannon.org up and running. DutchDemocrat did basically 95% of the CMS design, since I was kinda clueless about all these nifty website tools until a week ago (we're using Mambo), and we both worked on the initial content. I thank DutchDemocrat for teaching me what web slickness really means!

We decided to use Gannon as a symbol of the Bush propaganda, rather than have a Gannon-centric site. Here's the site's "mission statement":

Jeffgannon.org is a website dedicated to analysis, deconstruction and critique of political manipulation of public opinion under the Bush regime.

Policy and propaganda are often inseparable subjects for discussion. Nevertheless, we focus on the Administration's and the complicit media's presentation of the effects of and the motives behind the current American policies. In a wider context, we are interested in framing of the public debate, socio-psychological manipulation and abuse of value systems. Our reason for that focus is simple: the continued political success of the GOP and the Bush Administration is clearly not rooted in successful policy-making; instead, it is due to a masterful, creative and unscrupulous molding of public opinion. In principle, whenever political success grossly outpaces the level of success of implemented policies, it is fueled by propaganda.

The gap between the political success of a government and the failure of its policies, created by that propaganda, is universally filled with social conflict and economic decay.

Site looks great but even if I highlight it I still can't read it...
maybe darken it or give it a dark background...

make the grey a darker grey and the turq deeper :)

I particularly like the buttons being on the right side instead of left.

Goldmund and I have taken steps to improve readability by upping the font size and breaking up the articles in more visually palatable paragraphs.

I think you will find it easier to read now!

I was thinking about a short disquisition about the many writers of the Gannon canon. Again, not to be jeffcentric, but as a figure of what is going on in the media.
