British Leader Was Told Terrorists Could Gain Arms
Edited on Fri Sep-12-03 06:50 AM by The Lone Liberal
LONDON, Sept. 11 -- Britain's intelligence chiefs warned Prime Minister Tony Blair a month before the invasion of Iraq that military action would increase the risk of terrorists obtaining weapons of mass destruction, according to a parliamentary report released today.

The report said a Feb. 10 assessment by the top-secret Joint Intelligence Committee -- a cabinet-level body that includes the chiefs of Britain's main intelligence agencies -- concluded that the collapse of Saddam Hussein's government "would increase the risk of chemical and biological warfare technology or agents finding their way into the hands of terrorists."

Wow, that is deep thinking. I think that sort of scenerio was talked about in DU no less that twenty or thrirty times during the build up to "Bush's War."

1. Perhaps someone should tell poodle boy Blair about DU....

He might get better intelligence here to pass along to whistle ass than he did the last time. Also, maybe David Kelly would still be alive.

On edit: Perhaps this was a cynical goal of the whole invasion? They actually wanted to increase terrorism to continue the war and their power -- not matter how much they protest to the contrary.

3. Well Cement Head
has an awful hard time thinking since his brain is but an aggregation of small rocks!

So, there is not much the poodle could do except think about how useless a walking box of rocks really is.

4. Let's see if we can get this straight......
The "Mama's boy" believed MI-5 when they told him Iraq had WMDs and Blair must have shared this report with him, now why didn't the "Mama's boy" believe this report and share it with the Congress, or did he? Maybe DeLay and Rove thought it best not to tell us that part?

2. Therefore...
if Blair stands by his WMD claims, the terrorists must now have the WMD. And considering the fact that ABC was able to smuggle in depleted uranium from Indonesia, those WMD may already be sitting in a building somewhere in the United States.

Feel safe?
