Bush*'s scripting of press questions: PRESS ASKED WHY...
In yesterday's White House press briefing. It was funny: one of the press asked the question and then, when McClelland said it was not true, that he answered 17 different questions from the press. The questioner said you know it is true because you cannot even keep a straigth face when denying it!
This shows that the press in the US is even sillier and more ineffective than what we have estimated. They should have protested, en masse, a LONG TIME AGO. Like Joh Stewart says: they don't ask questions during press hearing to avoid losing access. "THE DON'T HAVE ACCESS!"

1. One of the press?
It had to be Russell Mokhiber! The rest of them are too cowed to protest the contempt this corrupt administration treats them with.

3. The White House press corps has no integrity left,
particularly after going to Stump's ranch for a picnic with the big stupid lying war criminal.

5. James Madison would have shuddered at that night time scripted...
press conference that even the Smirking Chimp admitted. Those reporters sat there like school children in front of tyrant principal, afraid even to raise a hand. I am 65 years old. I have been a political junkie longer than most of the evil DUers have been alive, and nothing I have ever seen rises to the level of that horrendous example of a 'free press.' The beltway whores trashed the Clintons for eight years, but nothing those two did during those years even came close to the idea of a scripted 'spontanious' press conference.

7. The Clintons could both speak and think
at the same time.........their ideas were their own thoughts.

Bush can barely read prompters...he can't take questions because he can't think.

6. Notice how Ari's press conferences were aired every day......I have only
seen Scott McClelland twice and that was just after Ari left. McClelland is so bad they don't show him with this stammering and ummmming........and the questions may have gotten tougher and he can't handle it.

Ari knew when to get out IMHO.......but why didn't they have a stronger person than McClelland to replace him.......maybe no one wanted the job.......???

8. They lined everyone up for the job
and had them each tell a lie.........the one who could keep the straightest face won.
