They called me at work to ask me to "give them a try." I told the woman that the station really wasn't my style, which seemed to surprise her. Then before I hung up, I said, "I bet you're not getting too much success from other female small business owners today."

Gave us a few giggles here this morning.

Next time make sure to name Rush explicitly, the more these stations realize that there are millions of people who refuse to listen to that windbag the better of the country will be.

3. I've been approached by local Radio for advertising and I told them

I do not and will not support hatred. You push hatred with Rush and Dr. Laura and I won't listen to your station and sure as hell won;t advertise on it. Twice now I have told them that and each time I get a shocked reply. They don't understand how much hatred is truly generated.

they sponsored some stupid, low-attendence rallies when the invasion started which their sister TV station reported as "news."

The refer to themselves as "The Truth." Can you imagine with Rush and that line-up having the nerve to call themselves "The Truth?" I hope they call me, I will give them quite an earful.

I would have really told them what I thought, but I had a customer at the counter, and an electrician working right beside me. While I'm sure they both would have appreciated my sentiments, I doubt that yelling a stream of obscenities would have served me well.
