FOX "News" bold faced LIE (3:05 est): "8 Iraqi policemen wounded..."

Sorry don't know the name of the reporter. But I'm 95% certain this was the incident re: the chase of robbers that *killed* eight, i.e., it involved the security checkpoint, Iraqi policeman chasing the bad guys, etc.

This has been a story since I got up this morning. The reporter clearly said "wounded." Anchor Shepard Smith did not bother to correct the guy.

Does FOX post transripts?

Did anybody else see this jaw dropping lie!?!?!?

Seems to me a HUGE STINK could and should be made about this. Anyone have an idea how and, preferably, connections, to make this happen? I don't care if it only happened once and was somehow an "honest" mistake. They deserve to be SAVAGED by this by the rest of the media, IMHO.

Un-fooking-believable....

Sky News says 10 killed and 5 wounded... Sounds like 15 cops involved...

If it's okay for him to lie, then it's okay for the media to lie. And they blasted Bill about what kind of example he was setting. How we explain to our kids that you have to tell the truth when everything out of this bastard's mouth is a lie?

Right, no kids ever in the history of the world had ever lied prior to 1998, and now they were running around telling whoppers all the time.

Lil George fudges a few facts, stretches the truth, shades the evidence, sexes up a report or two, and engages in selective editing of the intelligence to scare hell out of the public and kill Iraq. The kids are alright, though. No need to worry. Meanwhile, the leading paper in Jerusalem calls for Arafat's assassination, and what can the U.S. say? "Don't do that"? Based on what? India and Pakistan rattle nuclear sabers at each other, and what could our reaction possibly be? "Don't be irresponsible with your weapons"? Get real.

In addition to shooting Afghanistan and Iraq, we've shot our credibility.
