Help! Need good link to Florida voter rolls purge |
|
A co-worker looked at me like I was crazy when I told him about the company that Katherine Harris hired to purge voter rolls in Florida. Anyone have a site with simple explanation or summary about this?

8. Thank God our illustrious news media is investigating this scandal! |
|
Oh wait... Our media has yet to investigate the voter purge that took place shortly before Election 2000. Silly me.
Why can there not be more people like Palast?
F every person in the media who continues to ignore the voter purge of Election 2000.

3. questions that needs answering . . . |
|
do they still intend to use these lists in the 2004 election?
do they intend to expand them to disenfrnachise even more minority Democratic voters?
why aren't the Democrats all over this?

6. Great question.. because they hadn't fixed the list by 2002 |
|
they claimed it couldn't be done in time - thus a whole lot of folks were disenfranchised for 2 elections. The claim (I believe to a court of law) was that the voter books would be fixed/cleared by 2004. But I haven't heard any word to suggest that this is, or isn't happening.

7. Yes, yes, and Imperial Moribundity combined with "messages received" |
|
The Busheviks have delivered a wide variety of messages that no doubt have had great cumulative effect on the Democratic Congressfolk. They range from:
1) Fabricated allegations/distorted lies being laundered by the Party Loyal Right-Wing Sub-Media and injected into what laughably passes for the National Dialogue these degenerate days.
2) Anthrax Letters
3) The Carnahan/Wellstone Treatment
(there are more but you get the idea)
Am I condoning the Democrats for reacting Pavlov-fashion, and shying away from these "electro-shocks"? No.
But that is my answer to your third question. They have been bullied and intimidated on manyh levels, up to and including fear for their own lives.
