regardless of her politics, Leni was a brilliant filmmaker whose early work even today influences much of televised sports broadcasting. Can't deny her of that.
(same reason we can't completely trash "Birth of a Nation" - one of the most racist and despicable films ever made, yet, from a filmmaking perspective, it was groundbreaking.)
