Is Washington Journal Host Peter a right winger?
Whenever he hosts I perceive a distinct difference in the way he treats republican and democrat callers: usually republican callers are asked to stay on the line and wait for a follow up. He hangs up on the democrats immediately, many times before they're even done asking the question. Is he right wing? And does anyone have information on the stances of the other moderators?

1. Most people here would say, "yes." Along with Brian Lamb.
As for Peter, I actually think he's trying to help out the Bush supporters because the anti-Bush people have such strong and convincing arguments; they don't need the help.

2. He annoys me terribly sometimes,
But then I try to put my own bias aside and try to see what he and all the other hosts may look like from the other side. Actually, I think it comes out pretty even in the end.

4. I think so. I remember a couple of years ago...
some callers were bashing bush. Peter's jaw's were visibly tight. And he was tapping his pencil so hard on the desk he almost broke it.
I think he conceals it a bit better than he used to.

5. He and Steve always strike me as Wingers....but who knows. Does anyone
know their last names? Might be worth a Google to see what they are affiliated with.... The more we know about who mods and decides what we all see, the better.

6. Steve
's last name is Scully. Steve Scully.

Pedro Echevarria is another one

one of their last names is Ogle or something, maybe that's Peter's?

Scully comes across as some uptight conservative, but appearances aren't everything
