Even though Clark has such a stellar resume, and would no doubt be a good candidate, there are so many details that haven't been established. I haven't heard him speak, for instance- maybe he's a boring speaker, or not charismatic enough. I generally think that he'd be in a stronger spot to run if he had started earlier, and that we don't need anymore reckless impulsive folks sitting in the WH. Yet the fact that Clinton, Dean, and Michael Moore support him seems like a good indication. I'm in a neutral place about Clark, and want to find out more information. However, for all the complaining I've heard about who's running, it seems to me that all of the democratic candidates are excellent choices. Maybe Leiberman is coming off too conservative, kind of in a time warp. But besides him, the other ones are not that conservative, and would offer a real difference from Dubya. I wish that Americans would grow up a little, and look beyond appearance, gender, and other superficial things. It seems that we insist on having a white male candidate who is generally tall, and can motivate the crowds. Nobody gives any serious consideration to Mosely-Braun, though she might be one of the best. Gephardt gets ruled out because he tells too many long stories. Yet he is extremely trustworthy, but that is discounted. And although people generally like Dennis, he is considered too far to the left to be electable. I am really sick of these straightjacket expectations, and think it is no wonder that nobody can even agree on a candidate.
