5. Thanks. I'm trying to, but most of my hanging seems to |
|
involve copious amounts of food and sleep. *blah*

6. I think it is. I am hoping that when folks come in to the lounge |
|
to announce a loss in their life, people will remember to let them know this group is available. :)

The Lounge can be so crazy sometimes...I would be nice to have a quite place to talk about these things...

8. Thanks, and exactly. The lounge is just the place to go to get the |
|
big rush of solace you need, but the little group is the place to be to deal with the aftermath over time. :)

10. Excellent idea. We will grieve all our losses like adults do. We will |
|
then come out the other side stronger and wiser. And as really great tools to fight the Repukes. Proper grief does that. Bush & Rove do not want us to grieve properly. That is why they made fun of the grief groups right after the election. Because they wanted us to be stuck in a past fight..and not ready to fight again another day.. for the elections to come. We will fight as Liberals/devout religious always do. We will help out with elections or we will plant a community garden We will go to a church and ask them to help find us kids to mentor. There are a thousand ways we can fight.
But first we grieve the loss of our way of life and the loss of the type of democracy we had and trusted in the USA.

11. That is true, many of us were/are grieving over the loss of a brighter |
|
future when ** stayed in office. I know I was depressed from that, then mom passed away, so it's just been compounded.

14. I always say - just let the tears come whenever they may. We were |
|
not taught to stop laughing as we grew up..what is with this not allowed to cry. Doing both (the ability to laugh at oneself is brilliant) will keep you sane.
Happy trails (?) on that journey :hi:
