Should people be limited to one job? |
|
I know so people with as many as 3 jobs. (not all full time of course)
Would it possibly be better in times of high unemployment to limit people to 1 job? Granted you might need 3 jobs if you are not taking in enough money to cover your expenses, but the person with no job is taking in no money to cover ANY expenses.
Granted with only one job you (assuming minimum wage) probably aren't getting enough but to barely surivive in very poor conditions, but at least someone else now has at least some income. In addition, you likely could qualify for more government assitance to help get by.

2. No, but we should strengthen labor laws |
|
so corporations can't take advantage of workers so much that workers feel they need 3 jobs. Also need to reduce consumerism and materialism. Maybe the work week should be 35 hours instead of 40 with people paid the same.

the problem with the government assistance is that even working one shitty job at minimun wage puts you out of the running. Sad, but true.
