Prediction: Lieberman will criticize HBO & Howard Dean tomorrow
I realize it's not that bold of a prediction to say Lieberman will criticize Howard Dean on any given day, but I think he'll make some kinda remark accusing Dean of demeaning the democratic process by participating in a show that blends fact & fiction. And I think he'll criticize HBO for creating such a show to begin with.

1. Perhaps Lieberman can get a role in Showtime's "Dead Like Me"
and play one of the grim reapers, or the new cook at the Waffle House, or perhaps the new waitress?

2. When he does...
It would be the first instance of him saying something I agree with. Dean looked like a tool, talking with his mouth full of cookie or something! :spank:

The electorate is confused enough with Shrub's ficticious "election" victory, and trumped up reasons for war.

I demand an OPEN society and RESPONSIBLE government. But fake television "reality" does nothing but undermine that by encouraging manipulation of the truth. The whole "is that real or are they acting?" schtick belongs to Jerry Springer and that's where it should stay. HBO is saying, "If the baby wants candy, give the baby candy."

As Sideshow Bob said, "That was a well thought up piece of non-claptrap that never made me want to wretch!"

Of course, HBO is perfectly free to make the program if they want, but they are also perfectly free to direct some of their considerable talent and energy to something more interesting and worthwhile. :dunce:
