DeLay, Congress made living wills pointless! |
|
Why isn't anyone getting this? Tom DeLay and the Contitutionally-challenged Congress, have demonstrated to America once and for all that "don't bother" is the order of the day. They've told us that the courts don't matter to them. If your interpretation of "legal" doesn't jibe with the fundies', you're shit out of luck, because Congress no longer feels the courts are able to manage such issues as legality and the law.
DeLay, you fuck...you should be out on your ass, NOW. You are a pox on America, and anyone who lends any credence to your words has been huffing bug juice. When you said "Those responsible for this will pay," well guess what, bucko..."those responsible" for this is YOU. YOU, Tom.
So pay up! Pack your bags.

We need him as a whipping boy for the 2006 elections--we need to hold him up as an icon of greedy, fascist, intolerant corporatism--the new republican party. We need to use him as the perfect example of how Jesus, morals, patriotism and courage have been hijacked in the name of greed and power; acutally, just power. Let him stay--let him fight and threaten like hell.

Even Texans are starting to get upset with him, according to Salon's war Room. Bryant Check it out --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

3. Yep. But we can hope... |

That he threatens and cajoles and gives his petty little orders, just as Newt (the most hated man in government) did! The more fuss he makes, the higher his profile becomes. People I have spoken to recently who never heard of him before last week (hard to imagine, but everyone isn't as politically addicted as we are) now have a VERY unfavorable impression of him. I must say I kind of helped it along, but anyway, the more DeLay digs in to try and keep his seat, the more corrupt he looks due to the lengths he must go to do it. If he is stubborn enough to hang in there, and if the Republicans don't stnad up to him, which they haven't up to this point, we have a Newt Jr. in our midst--a mini-Newt.
