4. Very well!
We signed up over 75 people, passed out tons of flyers, got lots of donations to cover the cost of the booth. Had lots of fun generally. Everybody wanted Howard Stuff.

8. 12,103.6 km
I didn't get to roam very much, so I don't really know, but I heard there was a poorly organized Kucinich booth, on the other side of the plaza.

5. Plenty of eye candy!
My partners was there too, so I had to be on best behavior... BUT HE GOT TWO EMAIL ADDRESSES! BASTARD! They were HOT too! I was very jealous. It was a guy he used to sing with in a local group, who finally came out and he and his partner want to hook up and go to dinner some time.

9. I was promoting!
...and cruising. But, like I said, it was tough to really "cruise" with my boyfriend right there!

6. Any wingnuts give you any problems
I had a Dean shirt on Saturday in Pittsburgh. Found out most of my bowling team is clueless and most are Repubs.

1 - Most didn't have a clue who Dean is.

2 - Most of them had drank the Repub Kool-Aid.

3 - The one Repub who did know who Dean is I got in to a real heated discussion with. Told me if I wanted the truth to read Ann Coulter. It was like fighting an unarmed man. He didn't even have a clue there had been an underfunded, undersupported, 9-11 investigation and no clue what I was talking about when I asked him about the blanked out 28 pages!

12. This was a very cool environment to promote Howard...
Kinda like shooting fish in a barrel. Everyone there was pretty much open to Howard already, so not a lot of freeper activity (Log Cabin Repukes are still a small minority of the Gay community). We had one person try and argue the virtues of Reagan, but I refused to play.

18. Did you do any voter registration?
Good job Thom, thank you for your efforts.

I did some tabling for Dean last week and Kucinich was the only other candidate represented at the events I was at too.

Kucinich and Dean seem to be the only candidates that have people actually out there at public events campaigning.

Where are the other candidate's supporters? (you don't have to answer that one.)

19. We had voter registration forms on hand...
That we gave to people take home, fill out and mail in. I didn't want to be responsible for looking up everyone's town hall addresses. Call me lazy, but I was the one who organized the outreach event, and spent tons of time and money and energy getting it all together. I still have to enter everyone's information into the computer.
