Paul Krugman will be on CNBC within the next 30 minutes.. |
|
I'm not sure the name of the show, however, when I find out I'll post it.

1. So Cheney says deficits will drop by half |
|
although Krugman points out that that is b/s, because Cheney and Bush are advocating to cut taxes further and increase the deficit more.
That Maria sure was a snippy little republican, wasn't she?

4. Krugman was brilliant .... he basically called * a "liar".... |
|
Exposed the tax cuts as a long term serious issue that will need to be corrected if we are ever going to come out of this 'mess'.
I enjoyed his non-spin view of the troubles we face. This admnistration is selling us down the river ...fast.

5. Summary: It is all part of the GOP plan to bust the budget and kill SS |
|
When all the baby boomers retire, there will only be about 75% of the money necessary to pay SS retirement (and other benefits) out of the wage earners deductions. I can see benefits being cut by 25%, probably by extending the retirement age again!

6. "I thought I was a centrist - didn't change - suddenly I'm a dangerous |
|
liberal" - what an important point he's making! The "center" moved all the way to the right.
