So what if all US citizens had to take a citizenship test
in order to remain citizens?

How many would there be left? And how many would there be in Congress? Could we finally get a Dem majority?

Just a hypothetical question.

1. Half of the Repugs would
fail if there were any questions asked about checks and balances and the independence of the Judiciary.

2. Shades of Literacy Tests for voting.
Man, would we get hammered for proposing this.

3. I'm not proposing it. I'm asking hypothetically.
How much do patriotic Americans really know about their country?

5. Very little.
I think realistically it would bar so many Americans from voting that third parties might stand a chance. I have no idea who would win.

4. What would the test consist of?
I think it would be a good idea...most Americans can't name 1 Supreme Court Justice, know nothing of our history or our constitution.

It's pretty damn sad.

6. What if it were the same test immigrants have to take
to gain citizenship? That seems appropriate.

7. Sounds good to me
People are too blase about their responsibilities as citizens.

They vote without knowing what they're voting for.

They don't hold their Reps responsible.

They don't hold the media responsible.

And many don't have a clue about the rest of the world, & they don't want to know.
