Uh…one other thing: The Commission that discovered the crime chose not to investigate the criminals! They would have nothing to say about the way Bush/PNAC cartel reflected the intelligence information in their presentations to Congress and the public.
As a result, George W. Bush was exonerated of serious violations of Constitutional and International Law without a single day of investigation. Despite a mountain of incriminating evidence, George W. Bush was off the hook. Neither he nor anyone in his administration would be held accountable for taking the nation into an illegal and immoral war under false pretenses.
In effect, George W. Bush was found NOT GUILTY by reason of the Presidency. George Bush, with the tacit cooperation of the media, has successfully transformed the White House into a fortress. At every level it is a protected sphere in which no one may question, no one may challenge, and no one may investigate. By his own fiat, George W. Bush has become untouchable. That’s how it goes, they say to us. Accept it.
