It is time for everyone but Clark to drop out. |
|
All good Democrats must rally behind his inevitable victory. To refuse is to help the Bushistas. (/sarcasm)
Seriously, shouldn't we see how he stands up to the heat of the campaign before proclaiming him the victor?

2. yep... that's what the primaries are for... |
|
I believe we should have wide open debate about who is best for the job, have the primaries, and then rally around whoever is the victor (unless it's LIEberman ;-) and even then we should support anyone who can get the Bushistas out of office. )

3. I knew this was sarcasm... |

...he hasn't been tested yet. I think he would have been better off going as Dean's running mate--he'd avoide the heat and elevtae himself to the national stage quite easily.
The knoves are out--mainly from the Re-pukes now!

He does add an interesting flavor to the candidates now. I'll be happy to vote for him if he is the one left standing in the end.

6. I think the one to be hurt most will be Lieberman |
|
He had positioned himself as electable hard on defence candidate. I predict Lieberman will suffer most...

Good heavens, we are over a year out from the elections, we have many primaries to go through, we have months of seeing how ALL the candidates handle the pressure, we have new things to learn about them -- I just roll my eyes when I see folks (disruptors?) call for ANY candidate to back out at this point. I personally like having all the candidates in and challenging/driving issues.
As for Mr. Clark, I know next to nothing about him -- he talks a good talk but there is no record for me to refer to that will tell me he is a man who walks that talk.
And that makes me VERY nervous. I have a LOT to learn about him before I would even consider voting for him.

8. In fact, we should dissolve the Democratic Party and form a Wesleyan Party |
|
Why deny inevitablilty? Have we shopped the marble yet for the statues? I say we procure some bronze while the spot-price is still low.

9. Agreed. It's too early to suggest that anyone drop out. |
|
Most people can't name one candidate. Any one of them has the potential to catch on and take off.
