Hussein & 93 WTC attack?
I had posted a bit to my LJ recently about some Iraq related things and had this posted on Monday morning:

"Yesterday morning, documentation that the Hussein regime was directly involved with at least the first WTC bombing was uncovered, and several portable weapons stations have also been uncovered in the last five months."

THe yesterday being Sunday morning of this week. I cannot find any mention of this anywhere. Has anyone else seen/heard it?

2. The closest thing I heard ...
is the "lawsuit" brought by the surviving family members of John O'Neil suing Iraq for their "direct involvment" in the 9/11 attacks.

9. You know, this COULD work to our benefit
(I mean the John O'Neil lawsuit).

Remember something about a sitting President having to be forced to testify in a Civil trial?

This would get Bush & Cheney on the stand. If they lie their asses off and documents are produced, that there is Perjury - would have to step down, according to the Rule of Law that the Repukes were so in love with in 98.

If they get up there and tell the truth, one of the members of the families of the 3000 killed on 9/11 would probably go to jail for doing the right thing. Let's see, Hinckley has yet to be released, right? Sirhan Sirhan died in prison, right? Oswald was "eliminated", right?

4. Bullshit.
I'll put my Sheepskins and Honorable Discharge up against this lie any day of the week.

Saddam's internal security forces routinely went on Al Qaeda hunts in Iraq to keep them out- particularly because Al Qaeda made it quite clear they'd kill Saddam if they got the chance.

Secular vs. Religious Fanatic, sound familiar?

6. Stirred up by Cheney on Sunday
from his Meet the Press appearance:
" We know, for example, in connection with the original World Trade Center bombing in ’93 that one of the bombers was Iraqi, returned to Iraq after the attack of ’93. And we’ve learned subsequent to that, since we went into Baghdad and got into the intelligence files, that this individual probably also received financing from the Iraqi government as well as safe haven.

Now, is there a connection between the Iraqi government and the original World Trade Center bombing in ’93? We know, as I say, that one of the perpetrators of that act did, in fact, receive support from the Iraqi government after the fact. With respect to 9/11, of course, we’ve had the story that’s been public out there."

so because Cheney said it on Sunday...that must be the ""Yesterday morning, documentation that the Hussein regime was directly involved with at least the first WTC bombing was uncovered," and the "and several portable weapons stations have also been uncovered in the last five months." will have to wait for the postponed WMD report...

I guess the captives are still sticking to their No WMDs stories and a little more pressure/bribe is required for the horse and pony show that is sure to follow...

7. thanks
Thanks, that's what I was looking for. If it had been as given to me, I would have thought it'd be all over the place as well since it'd be a "huge" tie to 9/11 if not a reason for going after Hussein even more.

8. Saddam's connection was..
..that he was leader of Iraq when this happened. That's about it. By the way, ever notice the first WTC attacks came two weeks after CLinton's inauguration, and you never heard the Demcorats blaming the Bush 41 adminsitration for letting it happen. Bush 43 was in office for nine months when the second attack hit, and was warned in advance by the departing CLinton adminsitration. Remember the goal of those 1993 attacks was to accomplish what they eventually did on 9/11 2001, bring down the towers.
