What will Clark bring to the race
that he couldn't bring as Sec. of State, Defense Sec... ect.
He can campaign.
Has he ever campaigned politically?
Has he ever ran for political office?
Can he get on any of the Super Tuesday ballots (other than Calif.)?
http://wesleyclark.h1.ru/index.shtml (best Clark site in the world)

Clark is worth more to the Dems as a military consultant. He is not ready for the big run.

2. Clark brings less Dem base - but maybe more independents?
The theory is independents want only coherent upbeat candidates who can deliver concrete benefits and solutions - which I think Dean/Kerry and the rest do - and who are not partisan, strident and negative.

Rove then claims the fact Dems HATE Bush while independentd do not feel hate proves Bush owns the independents and the election if Dean or the others run.

Clark is the Independents gatherer!

Now do you buy that analysis and agree that what Clark loses from the base he more than picks up from the independents?

.

10. not sure
I think that the Dem base will be solid in opposistion to Bush.
So Clark keeps the base, and adds independants.

5. He brings class
and brains and experience in running huge organizations adeptly.

Lack of "political" experience an asset - no waffling, pandering or porkbarrel votes to nail him with.

He is a good combo of both "outsider" and "insider".

However, he does need to show some chops on the economy - if he can get Rubin or a Rubin acolyte visibly on board - all for the best.

I am now a "clarkie." Still have strong favorable feeling about Dean

6. 'Best Clark site in the world' hasn't been updated
in a year and a half. Maybe you should tell them they are in danger of losing their coveted status by not updating.

8. whats happend in the last year?
Everything, good, bad, and ugly is on this site.
Read through it if you jock Clark.
I like him, but don't think much of him as a politician.
I would love to live in Clark's America (or Dean's, or Kerry's)

11. He shows the Dems have a broad base
that includeds career military officers and frankly I think this helps Kerry, because it will help to emphasize the importance of military and foreign affairs experience.
