He knows his support comes not from the people but from the corporations. He's afraid all right, but don't worry he'll never appear before a real crowd of real people. Can you even IMAGINE what would happen if he just appeared before a random, non-prescreened, non-patted down, non-oath signing audience the way Clinton did?

Damn, he would be jeered and booed right off the stage. There literally WOULD be serious security issues, because he's done this for so long and pissed people off so badly for so long.

He's created this monster. There's NO WAY at this point he could appear before a random crowd. No way. They'd chew him up and spit him out.
