Clark on free trade?
Please tell me that Clark supports America-based industry. American needs to repeal NAFTA and protect its workers.

If Clark can't do that, then I hope he fails in the primaries in favor of Gephardt, Kucinich, and Edwards.

1. Huh?
You want to repeal NAFTA and you think Gephardt or Edwards are gonna do it?

4. Gephardt was the leader against NAFTA
Yep, I trust Gephardt to do the right thing about NAFTA 100 times more than I do the pro-NAFTA Dean, Kerry, Lieberman, and Graham.

2. Um
I don't think the U.S president has the authority to just up and "repeal" NAFTA...

6. Why not. The president seems capable of repealing the ABM treaty?

3. I agree, if Clark is a pro-corporate, pro-NAFTA "free traitor"
he's not getting my vote. I hope he's a progressive populist, because I think he can beat Bush easily. If Clark screws us, he doesn't stand a chance.

Clark should mention Kucinich in public, and get clear on where he stands on the most important economic issues.

7. Clark Is Pro-FAIR Trade, Not "Free" Trade
Listen to this NPR interview, minutes 27-31. It goes into his economic credentials and his position on job outsourcing, etc.
