What will happen with Faith Based Initiative Money is Misspent?

I absolutely detest the idea of tax dollars going to religious groups. What I think is more atrocious is that there is no way for the taxpayers to know if their money is actually helping anyone or if it is paying for the next Jim Bakker to buy a jet or a big mansion.

So what do you think will happen when about three years from now some of the more ethical people in those organizations come forward with payroll records and receipts showing how that "faith based" funding paid to fatten the religious fat cats?

3. The thing to do is to get them to fight amongst themselves about

it. Claim that the Catholics are using the money to settle priest abuse claims and pay lawyers. The Baptists are using it for Cadillacs, the Mormons to pay for extra wives, etc.

I can receive no help because I'm not Christian and am unwilling to convert (actually, I simply cannot believe).

One cannot find out anything about their programs unless one already belongs or attends a Christian Church -- it's not public knowledge.
