David Letterman again last night
The gloves are really off.He mentioned again bush* loves video games. His favorite one is "Grand Theft Election".Molly Ivins has said bush* as governor of Texas played video games every afternoon. He did'nt have much to do because the Lt.Governor of Texas does most of the work.On the video games thing, if it turns out to be true, would be totally arrogant, with our troops dying everyday and he is playing video games.

3. Oldy but goody from Letterman -
"President Bush has said that he does not need approval from the UN to wage war, and I'm thinking, well, hell, he didn't need the approval of the American voters to become president, either." -- David Letterman

4. I don't watch...I may need to start.
Do you guys get the impression that he's serious? That's like the third time I've heard that he said something about the election being stolen.

5. "Many a truth is spoken in jest,
just not so much so that one can get caught for it."

6. I'm guessing he is...
Letterman clearly despises Bush, and he misses very few opportunities to showcase what an idiot he is (whenever I'm in another room, and I hear "Hail to the Chief", I run back to see the television, since I know Letterman is about to treat us to another glimpse of what a dumbass Bush is).

I think Dave is clearly one of us.

10. What's so funny about that?
Read the election forum here on DU-there is plenty of evidence that * stole TWO elections.

11. I think I'll take a pass on
the forum, thanks. As for evidence, I've seen it all, heard it all. I'm virtually certain that the election was stolen. I put the the word "virtually" in there just to cover myself against Acts of God, etc. But, logically, they had to cheat. Losing the election was not an option for these guys, and the exit polls showed Kerry winning.

:hi:

8. This may reflect the writing staff's awareness more than Dave's,
but Dave certainly demonstrates sympathy to that sensibility.

12. Exactly. But I'll bet that Dave meets with the writing staff daily...
I'm nearly certain that he goes over every joke beforehand -- he's not a guy who likes surprises in that regard.

9. I heard him say
back in 2000, Is bush* the real thing, or will he turn out to be the biggest "Dork" of all time? How prophetic.
