Traditional ally of Senator Kennedy claims same-sex marriage will...
lead to more fatherless families.

Lightning strikes everyone at least once. ;)

When Canadian Alliance foreign affairs critic Stockwell Day stopped his typical circle jerk with the GOP, he (rightfully for once, imho) lambasted the Chrétien government and the Department of Foreign Affairs for letting Bill Sampson be tortured for 31 months in a Saudi jail for a murder even the victim's son says he did not commit.

I would have been impressed if not for the fact that Sampson's father complained that their MP -- Val Meredith of the Canadian Alliance -- did NOTHING to help Sampson.

Too bad Clark left the Tories, because that's gonna send me to the NDP federally. (Locally, my Liberal MP is a homophobe, giving me both a local and a federal excuse to vote them out. Too bad...The leadership is right on same-sex marriage and on not whoring to the BFEE. Too many LINO idiots in the backbenches though (including a moderately prominent backbencher who calls himself a "Trudeau Liberal" in spite of his bigotry...I'm sorry, but Trudeau may have been corrupt, but his leadership was excellent and he was far from being a bigot), and almost as much corruption as in the Mulroney years. I hate Copps, as she's a puppet for the entertainment industry in spite of being fairly progressive, and Martin's not a bad guy even though he's too cocky to debate Copps and too fiscally right-wing. Oh...And I really like Jack Layton for some reason. :) )

1. I think that
it will give some families 2 fathers. Isn't that a good thing?

2. Eventually I'll figure out
what language you're speaking.

Or not.

3. I'm currently working on a feature
that stars Tim Curry, Jennifer Tilly and Dean Cain. Ironic isn't it that it's being shot on location in Copps' home town Hamilton. ;-)

I don't hate her for the reason you state, I don't hate her at all in fact. I just wish she'd be more of a cheerleader for more indigenous home grown feature film product instead of having to rely upon the "runaway" production business.

Well for someone so loyal to Canadian talent, she sure loves making us paying levies to Canadian subidiaries of American and European record labels...

I'd ask you to fill me in, but I don't think I'd like what you'd tell me.
