Recall AND BBV: a"curious "coincidence
um, not to sound:scared: PARANOID :scared:or anything but if you look at the small print at the bottom of the report used by the ACLU to pursuade the judge that punch card voting is "unreliable" guess who provided the research?

Sequoia Voting Systems.

They make touchscreen voting machines.
I think Carlyle is one of the main stockholders

:scared: hold me.:scared:

2. I just have a bad nagging feeling about this
they are going to try to shove this down our throats. Or use the fresh republican loss as an excuse to push for them. Something. Some way. Somehow. Must ....never...sleep....

4. David Dill was interviewed yesterday
on the Bay Area CBS news ..
Jerry Brown Mayor of Oakland also said
he was opposed to the recall , but also
opposed to the 9th circuts delay ruling
becuase he has his doubts and concerns
over the new voting machines being hacked
and open to viruses .

An Interesting perspective . I hope the
discussion continues on the news around
here .

7. Exactly my point.
I've been asking since the ACLU first filed that appeal why we would want to encourage a move to touch screen voting when we don't have a guaranteed paper trail.

Since we must have a recall, let's do it now. Let's do it with what we've got. And let's remind Kevin Shelley yet again that we don't want touch screen voting without a solid paper trail.
