Wesley Clark's new, official website: AmericansForClark.com |
|
Edited on Wed Sep-17-03 07:03 AM by VolcanoJen
He's setting forth with "The 100 Year Vision." I've only had time to skim the piece, but there's a nice bit at the end about the necessity of "long overdue hikes in the minimum wage in this country."
The site is pretty bare-boned right now, but it looks good and it's well-organized.

No wonder I guess. Did anyone catch his interview on ABC? Charlie Gibson was a real ass.

probing but I think Clark is kicking ass and winning them over.
He is handling all of their questions with aplomb in my opinion.
I have no doubt this is going to be competitive down to the wire.

They are going to be taking their whacks at him -- it's their job. The harder they go after him, though, and the better he handles it, the more people he wins over. There's an upside to the attention, even negative attention. And when people see him handling hostile interviews with aplomb, it puts the lie to the insinuations about arrogance that will inevitably be floated about. I say,
Bring 'em on!

10. Attn: Clark Supporters |
|
<Taking off my Dean hat and putting on my Democratic Central Committee hat.>
I'm in charge of the Democrat booth at our local fair this year and I've been calling around to all the candidate headquarters trying to gather material to put up at the booth and at our local Dem. office.
Since I knew (thanks to DU) that Clark was going to throw his hat into the ring, I called the DraftClark headquarters yesterday but they were not yet able to provide anything.
If any of you guys has any "ins" or could provide some things from the campaign, please PM me and I can fill you in on the details.
Thanks, guys.
Taz

Location??
:-)
Maybe to make this more clear, I could get you some things where I live (Arizona), and there are likely other people in the same situation -- if they knew where you are.

But it seems it would be more efficient if you said where this is needed, so people who were far away wouldn't waste your and their time on it. Made sense to me, but who knows...

But the site doesn't handle retired or volunteers very well. Keeps asking for your "employer", even if you don't have one. Finally enetered the organization I give most of my time to.
