Is it possible that bush Vetoed the UN resolution on the killing of arafat in order to goad the terorists into striking the US so he could get another bump in the polls?

3. Na
George and CO simply do not like the idea of anybody telling them what they can and cannot do. The resolution would have tied their hands on what they could do with Arafat. They like the idea that if they wanted to they could kill him.

4. why
when he could invade a defenseless arab nation and get the same result. I think he was hoping for a quicker solution and maybe for the occasional Iraqi who enjoys the occupation.
