Democracy now discussing a possible felony charge against Karl Rove
They are discussing the fact that if proven that Rove leaked that Joseph Wilson wife works for the CIA, he could be charged with a felony. Has Rove finally stepped over the line? Yesterday during the daily press conference a reporter brought up the fact that Rove could be charged if proven by the FBI to have done this. These are accusations by Wilson himself.

1. Not one tear would fall from my eyes.
Unless they were tears of laughter and joy.

3. Novak will have to go to jail or
give up Rove. However, if a case is brought, they will steer it to a friendly GOP judge and dismiss the charges based on national security or Bushistas are above the law or some such thing.

5. Reporters are protected
Are they not? If not, they should be. Mind you, I want Rove as much as the next DUer.

14. Well, they're protected from the outside world
enough have been jailed for contempt of court for refusing to give up their sources.

That would probably turn any RW talking dittohead into a GOP martyr.

10. It's a radio show always worth listening to with Amy Goodman.
Althought some more DLCish types might shun it as too fringe leftist. Amy Goodman is a class act.

11. Why make something up?
I'm sure he's guilty of plenty of real crimes as he hides behind the Patriot Act.

How many demands for accountability under the Freedom of Information Act has he denied?

15. Sounds like a case for the supreme court.
It would do my soul good to know that there really is justice in this world but I won't hold my breath.

16. Maybe that was what the newsguy's
secret was about. If Rove is out that would definetly change the dynamics of the race.
