Okay, need help again re: vs. neo-con blather |
|
I shouldn't say that so strongly since this neo-con is my friend, but she INSISTS (as a matter of fact we made a bet out of it) that Hillary is running in 2004. I told her the deadline to announce is coming up pretty fast, but wasn't sure when.
Can somebody tell me the deadline for announcing for 2004 candidacy?
Thanks! There's a big lunch bet riding on this one, so help me out!
I told her Hillary is NOT running, but she won't believe me. I asked her, "where do you keep HEARING this stuff? Limbaugh? Fox News? Hannity & Colmes???" She refuses to tell me, says it's just a "hunch" but I know she's hearing it from some right wing rag or mouth.
Give a clue fellow DUers, I can't find info on it.
THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

or very near that.
the theory goes that Hillary will accept a call to her should the pack fail to distinguish themsleves. So far that is happening fairly well. Further to the theory, Clark is being tossed into the frey by the Clintons/DLC/DNC to insure a destabalized group and by way of reward he gets the VP spot which he covets.
I guess we'll know the truth in a few months.

2. Now THAT is an interesting theory. |
|
I just can't imagine Hillary running--she'd have to be hit over the head with a 2 x 4 to be stupid enough to subject herself to this right-wing crap all over again. The right wing pundits are slavering and slobbering over the fact she might run, in fact, are saying she will so they can keep slandering and talkng about Clinton's wee wee. They also scream about Hillary being power-hungry, her husband wants her to run so he can be back in the WH, so on and so forth. Who the hell would voluntarily submit to 4 years of further hell?
I think the DLC is in the dark about rank and file temper within the party. Dean is pulling ahead, Kucinich, while behind, is starting to catch on. I think the base of the party is getting fired up, and it's not over the Clintons.
If Clark wants a VP spot, he can run with Dean or Kucinich! :-)

3. everyone who runs does so for the power, for ego |

and Mrs Clinton is no exception. She subjected herself to the rigors of the senate campaign didn't she ? I don't think that she would object to some more name calling for 8 years at the most important desk in the world.
But like I said, its all theory at this point.
