I just read an article on how the Senate Dems are asking how Dickhead Cheney is able to still get paid from Halliburton, despite the fact that he's supposed to have "no financial interest" in that shit-eating oil company since he became the fake VP.
It looks like he claims that he took out an insurance policy that enabled him to get paid no matter what:
"Cheney had already earned the salary that was now being paid, Martin said, adding that once he became a nominee for vice president, he purchased an insurance policy to guarantee that the deferred salary would be paid to him whether or not Halliburton survived as a company."Is it just me, or is my BS detector working properly. Despite the fact I've learned to not believe anything any Administration assholes say, has anybody here ever heard of getting an "insurance policy" that pays you even after you leave the company?
Also, what are the legal implications of Cheney still having a connection to Halliburton while being VP?
