Lou Dobbs is such a hack!!! |
|
His bias is so obvious it's pathetic. I watched his interview with Franken. He challenged everything he said and made it clear that the he was a comedian and his opinion shouldn't be taken seriously. It was an uncomfortable, tense interview.
Tonight he had Laura Ingram on and chatted her up like a best friend. He didn't question a single assertion she made and you could tell he was agreeing with her assertion that celebrities have no right to comment on politics and should just shut up.
An obvious question would be to bring up Arnold and get her take, but I guess since he's one of their own, it goes untouched.

1. Isn't Lou Dobbs a cross dresser? |
|
I remember reading something like that the other night, but I got distracted and couldn't find that thread later...

It's his "journalistic" skills that have me pissed off.

Heard it as I was walking out the door to come to work...
I'm paraphrasing here: "And we'll talk to Laura Ingraham about the elites who are speaking against America," as a picture of Michael Moore was shown.
It was presented as news, not opinion, and that pisses me off to no end.

:wtf:
I mean, holy fucking shit, what the hell is wrong with the people of this country? Speaking against BUSH is not speaking against America.
This jingoistic, nationalistic, fascist bullshit has got to stop.

15. I heard that. The way they used the word "elites" as if it were |
|
New Yorkers or Diabetics really stuck in my craw. Surfed by her on Hannity and Gomer last night and she was spewing the same crap.
It sounds as if they are trying to say that intelligent or creative people are all anti-American deviants.

3. I give Dobbs credit... |
|
for exposing the crimes against the worker (and domestic industry) by NAFTA supporters.
He's been on CNN for a LONG LONG time, and I accept the fact that he's there. Of course he's going to be conservative, his show is a business news program. (But, yeah, the Ingraham interview got on my nerves, but it's nothing compared to FAUX).
Pick on Neil Cavuto or something.

I used to watch and enjoy his show. But he has gotten more and more fanatic about being conservative, and has become less impartial.

CNN is probably trying to imitate FAUX's Cavuto. Yeah, you're right; it's not a business news show anymore. Maybe that's why it's just called Lou Dobbs now and not Moneyline.
When Americans stop watching FAUX, we'll have our TV back.

16. he ass-kissed the sec of treasury too |
|
the topic was supposed to be about trade with china and how it has impacted US un-employment. even the GOP congressman said that job losses to chinese industries was the overwhelming topic his local constituents hammered him on during the recess. but when dobbs had the sec of teasury on, all that clown did was talk abnout how american industries and the american society in general would have to change to suit the attack by chinese trade.
what followed was the standard litany from cheap labor conservatives on how the US had to deal with the problem.....first...TAX CUTS!! then tort reform, then evironmental de-regulation.
none of those topics would have a direct positive effect on increasing US employment vis-a-vis chinese trade.
so what the sec of treasury was saying is that the US society had to become more like the chinese to be competitive.
and all dobbs did was smile and nod in agreement.
