Mother charged with stabbing son, daughter to death

Tonya Vasilev, a woman described by friends as kind, caring and godly, was accused Friday of slaying her two children in a frenzied attack at their Hoffman Estates home.

Vasilev, 34, was charged with two counts of first degree murder in the Wednesday night deaths of her children Christian, 9, and Gracie, 3. Each was stabbed more than 100 times, authorities said.

1. You know I read that entire article and no where did it say that

the family was a bunch of fundamentalists. Just because someone is invloved in their church or in this case actually the pastor does not mean one is a fundamentalist. For all you know that families political beliefs maybe so liberal as to make you look like Ronald Reagan. Sounds the woman has been mentally ill for a while and lost it. Funny thing about mental illness it does not recognize race, creed, gender or politcal party.

and suggest that the "Bulgarian Evangelical Church of God New Life Church" does indeed sound fundamentalist.
