1. Gees, did the Dean people get bored attacking Clark and Kerry?
It looks to me like a Photoshop guy got bored.

2. Honest to God, it's straight off of Yahoo News.
Here's the link to the story it accompanies from the top stories on Yahoo. I didn't go searching for it. It was just there ... and very odd indeed, since it is a bona fide AP photo. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&cid=694&u=/ap/nuclear_threat_ads&ncid=

caught the light fixture in the room (probably foyer) behind him.

Makes an interesting shot tho.

11. We're about due for
one of those National Examiner stories with the alien on the cover endorsing one of the candidates. Looks like it's Edwards.

If I was him I'd keep a few of those pictures to show the grandkids though.

13. Not that I'm a fan of ambulance chasers
but Nader told that there was no difference between the parties.

15. Daniel Ellsberg had the best line about that:
He said that Nader's claim of there being no difference was perhaps "the biggest lie in the history of American presidential politics". He then went on to pick it apart mercilessly.

Look at the cases Edwards took; the right did everything it could to find something and came up with zilch.

Nader's right about a lot of things, but he's dead wrong about a lot of others, including this.

14. Nice shot
Big pat on the back for the stills guy/gal. I wonder how much of an opportunity shot it was and how much it was planned. I'm guessing the latter: real pro sizes up the space, lines it up, waits and burns at least a roll for it.

You see so much hack work in pro news shooting, it's nice to see something done really well; nice framing too: balanced, yet just a bit asymmetric.

Whoever shot that Bush shot that's being compared to this deserves mention too: great shot, much as it chills me and makes me barf.
