Hume on Clark
Edited on Wed Sep-17-03 11:35 PM by eleny
Brit Hume had a guest on just now who went to school with Clark and has been aquaitned with Clark for many years. It sounded like he was going to be able to nail Clark. But Hume got nowhere. Trying to paint Clark as a man of unbridled ambition fell flat. His guest says no - unfair characterization.

Hume kept trying and got nowhere on all the Clark talking points. Even on Clark's controversial decision in Kosovo. The guest, a West Point classmate and lifelong Clark aquaintance, said he agreed with Clark's position and said it would have ended the Kosovo action sooner.

The guest just said he'd be fine as president since being a general makes you deal with the worst stresses any human being could face.

This interview is a keeper. But I bet FoxNews deep sixes it. Hume had to gag down his thanks to the guest.
