She looks so young and naive I cannot help but feel parental when I see a picture of her.
I want to see at least an NCO fry for what happened at the prison. Someone is responsible for putting England in a position where she could make such a tragic mistake. She was unqualified and inadequately supervised for her job.

11. NCO, hell, I want Colonels and Generals -- Sanchez for one |
|
I know, I know, fat fucking chance. I can DREAM, can't I?
I'll be honest: Lyndie England is someone I don't have a thing in common with, someone I'd probably do everything I could to avoid spending any time with. But damn it, she's a scapegoat here, and it doesn't take any brains, any military experience, any sympathy for her to know that.
And that's just plain wrong.
Should she be "held accountable" for what she did? Yeah, probably (I say "probably" because I don't really KNOW all the circumstances, including how bright she is or isn't, and how disadvantaged she really did grow up). BUT NOT ALONE, and not even with Graner.
I WANT COLONES AND GENERALS, esp. General Sanchez. And I won't be satisfied or feel like ANY justice was done unless that happens. And, I'm pretty sure it won't.

Lynndie England's guilty plea to prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib, saying that he was not convinced that she knew that her actions were wrong at the time. Col. James Pohl entered a plea of not guilty for England to a charge of conspiring with Pvt. Charles Graner Jr. to maltreat detainees at the Baghdad-area prison.

7. It will be one of two things... |
|
Either...
a) The judge thinks what "Mistress Lynndie and the Aboo Gah-reb Players" was just fine and she is guilty only of doing what everybody wanted to do to them there sand n****rs anyway after they bombed the New York City!
or...
b) He wants to get to see how far up the chain of command knowledge and toleration (or encouragement) of this stuff goes.
Comments?

The judge cannot accept her plea if he believes she may not be guilty. He is simply doing his job. Grainer really f*cked her on this. He knew exactly what he was doing.
