Rep. Drier, repug, said on MSNBC that he asked her and she said sure.

Isn't that peachy wonderful?

don't have link - saw this in the Mailbag at buzzflash, I think.

1. I still haven't made up my mind about this
I really dislike Harris and the thought of her
coming to Cali to "help" the recall makes me very
angry .

But would her being here somehow activate people
rekindling the whole 2000 animosity among Dems?

5. I can think of a role for her...
She can wait out side the most crowded, line-filled, chaotic polling facilities with a "kick me" sign on her back. I think that would be an incredibly well-received contribution on her part.

3. Are these people stoooopid or what??
Bush's pits are reportedly all wet already because he just doesn't want to hear this 2000 thing echo again around the land as these courts are now getting involved. Yep, let's send the Florida Pig out there just as a reminder. Let's have her visit the most liberal state in the Union.

9. D-U-M-B
Harris' presence would really add fuel to Davis' 'right wing scheme to steal the election' claims. She's the posterchild for rigged elections- I'd be shocked if they actually brought her out here.

But conservatives have been shocking me for years now, so...
