3. You know, it's funny...
I was going to start a thread congratulating you on 800 posts in the Lounge, but I had to hit refresh once here.

I'm anti-Lieberman and everywhere I look it's more associations between Clark and Lieberman than any other candidate, except perhaps Kerry, only because of service.

I can't support Lieberman or Lieberman-light. Sorry

5. I'm sorry you feel that way.
I hope at the debate next week Clark will prove he isn't republite.
BTW I forgot to add a happy face smilie next to the gore guy in my previous thread.:-)

4. The DLC represents Wesley Clark.
He's their man.

They represent the right wing of the Democratic party.

8. Y'know...your blind and shortsighted support is admirable,
but a bit foolish. Wes Clark has yet to make one policy statement. If he wasn't a "General (ret)" nobody would be giving him the time of day.

If you are comfortable having your candidate "selected" by the DLC, that's fine by me.

I'll pass, though.

10. Yes, Clark supporter Charlie Rangel
has always been a DLC pawn. Same with Clark supporter Michael Moore. Don't let the facts get in the way of a sweeping generalization.

11. Charlie Rangel I'll give you, but Michael Moore holds no water
for picking winners. Nor having a sense of reality, although his opinions make him much money.

17. actually Rangle is a DLC pawn
He might also be a decent guy, but he is a dlc pawn.
Michael is simply a juvenile jackass who happens to make good movies. No one should ever take that asswipes political advice after 2000. He showed no judgement and he can't even admit he was stupid. I mean come on, Gore was too centrist but Clark is the great liberal hope? Good God!

15. I see no record of From giving to Bush.
In the2004 cycle, he's given 2k to Lieberman.

In 2002, He gave to Rahm Emmanuel, Erskine Bowles and Fred Duval.

In 2000, he gave to Hillary Clinton, Mel Carnahan, Chuck Robb, Cal Dooley, and "Missouri 2000" (Carnahan?)

I see no donations to Bush or any republican dating back to 1990.

Try it yourself: http://www.opensecrets.org/indivs/index.asp

If you want to bash From for giving to Lieberman, go for it. I'll join in.

But if you want to make him into a fifth column, provide some evidence.

9. the bizarre thing
is that he displays no comprehension that liberal Democrats might not "appreciate" all they've done in the name of the Party, that maybe we don't like having our votes taken for granted - especially when we form a third of the party. Why should the liberals compromise and not the conservatives or the moderates?

12. Unfortunately
liberals don't make up a majority of Democratic voters, and nowhere close to a majority of the electorate.
