What's going on with Townhall.com and who is Drew Bond?
I was researching information on the Heritage Foundation for my moveon group last month when a message appeared from Edward Feulner that the Heritage Foundation was separating from them. A new president this month was installed from the prior parent organization, Drew Bond. However I can find little or nothing about him through Wikipeia or Google. This change seems to fall into the "I smell a rat department." I also noted they recently boasted on townhall.com they had a membership of some 1.5 million readers but seem to be having a tough time raising $250,000 dollars for their "Spring Fund Raiser."

I am presently attending the Freepress National Conference For Media Reform in St. Louis. I'd appreciate any input so I could discuss this strategy change and see what must be done to shed the proper light on it. My first blush is that they are trying to counteract Dr. Dean's effort to bring more progressive candidates and eventual election winners in the "Red States." They may also take over where the "Swift Boaters" left off. It also may show some recognition that they were skirting very close to breaking laws governing non-profit tax status. Info please.

Gee, what will Lynne Cheney do for a paycheck, and to get away from her balding, talk through the side of his mouth, Edward G. Robinson wanabee husband? How many more vapid children's books can she order her staff to turn out for her to slap her name on?

Don't know if these links will be helpful, or if you have seen them:

Bond, 35, a former chief of staff to Feulner, is the new face behind Townhall. He spent nearly four years working with Feulner, and before that was a health care sales representative for Pfizer. He has also worked in government, serving as the chief of staff for Republican Oklahoma Corporate Commissioner Denise Bode and a legislative assistant for former Sen. Don Nickles (R.-Okla.).

A real piece of work, that guy!
