4. good for him
He still is not our only choice and perhaps not our best one, Time will tell. My preference is that Clark Vote for Gore again in 2004

9. I sense conflict between Gore and Clinton which means
Gore would not endorse Clark since Clark is nothing more than Clinton's pawn for Hillary

13. You guys really need to give it up.
You're giving Hillary, a WOMAN (gasp), WAY too much credit.

6. This is wacky
We can sigh a collective "whew!" that the potential Dem candidate didn't vote for Bush, like we dodged a bullet?

Is this what is meant by "politics of low expectations"?

11. Well, let's prepare the laurels
The man's a prince: he figured out the obvious.

That means he's definitely to the left of George W. Bush; I feel safe.

I take it all back now; he doesn't need to make any explanations for his casual regard for whom he's supported and why, he doesn't need to repudiate anything. History teaches us that any military hero brought forth on the shoulders of adoring crowds and established power brokers have never done harm or been ineffective or bad.

12. New Democrats?
Reagan Democrats? Was there anyone who "voted for Reagan" that did not know he was to the far right wing of the Republican Party?
What is supposed to be redeemed from?
