No Bryan Singer directing.

Kelsey Grammer cast to play Beast/Hank McCoy. He's too old and it's too physical of a role for him to be believable. And he's a total Cheese. Sideshow Bob, indeed.

Watch for the series to go the way of the last few Batman movies.

And with Phoenix on her way. Dammit.

1. Actually Beast will be CGI so the KG voice is a good choice, IMO.

'Cept for KG is a repuke. That I'm not too keen on.

And Jean Grey will be back as Dark Phoenix at some point, right?

I'm more concerned about Topher Grace in the new Spiderman.

4. I was wondering if Beast would be CGI. However....

Hank McCoy is not only younger, he's physically well built.

Grammer is physically wrong for the role and will only be a distraction.

2. What was wrong with Steve Bacic?
He had about 3 seconds as Hank McCoy in X-Men United, and he seriously needs some decent work after Andromeda... :grr:

8. He was on a TV newscast
in a blink-and-miss-it moment, when the attack on the President was being discussed. In the background - just like the appearance of the name "LeBeau, Remy" in a list of mutants Mystique retrieves from Oyama's computer, one listing ahead of "Lehnsherr, Eric". Remy LeBeau is Gambit.

3. Kelsey Grammer? WTF?
I can't see him and not think of Frasier Crane. I guess watching him play that character for almost two decades ruined the actor for me. He may have the voice that is a good match for Beast, but that's about it.

On the other hand, I'm really excited to hear that Shadowcat has joined the cast. She (along with Nightcrawler and Mystique) is one of my favorite characters.

7. Juggy will be in this one.
Per this link:

http://www.superherohype.com/news/featuresnews.php?id=3023

Says X-3 will feature Angel, Beast, Kitty Pride and Juggernaut. There's a whole lotta computer imaging going on there!

And the Sentinel thing would be very cool!
