What's up with the NYT Magazine's fawning Santorum profile?

I read this article yesterday and vomited a little into my mouth. How the fuck can they possibly profile a dangerous ideologue like Santorum as if he was a hot new ballplayer or some hip architect?!

Next week in the NYT Magazine: "The Klan....They're Racist, They Murder, and They're HOT HOT HOT!"

http://www.nytimes.com/pages/magazine/

"Newspaper of record," my crotch. Quit tickling the colons of the Right Wing and get back to some responsible journalism, you braying asswhores.

1. He looks like Dustin Hoffman in Rain Man
and I mean no offense to any one who is Autistic or has an Autistic family member. But he has that far away look in his eyes. What could he be thinking?

4. He's thinking, "Man is this piousness act ever paying off!"
"Maybe tonight, after I lubelessly ream the gimp and whip my underage lover in the dungeon, I'll download some more man on dog porn....just as long as I'm not late for church."

6. Are those kangaroos on his tie?
Is that some secret message to Rupert Murdoch?

8. That's what I thought, too!
I saw those kangaroos, flashed back on his "man on dog" comments....maybe it was the "dog" part of the equation he was upset about.

Or maybe it's a secret message to Rupert Murdoch: "Hey, after this whole senator thing falls through, can I have a TV show?"

3. He needs to take a few years off the really study the bible. Or at least
he needs to vet any campaign he is a part of from any 'gay people'. I would suggest that he should not be talking to the WH. Since PBS documentary on Karl Rove pointed out that many, many of his underlings were gay.

The man needs to be connected to some truth. Right now he is just a big ole hypocrite.

5. A few words for you:
Stop Reading The New York Times.

I stopped reading that rag a couple years ago after they twice described the Bush administration as being "relatively free of scandal".

That was the last straw for me.

7. I can't help it.....
About 15% of it still has integrity. And their sunday mag can be a good read when they're not covering religious fanatics like they're The Strokes.

I ALMOST gave up on the NYT back when they had that editorial a few months ago asking their readership whether they had a "liberal bias...." as if they were apologizing ahead of time for being relatively objective.

At least Krugman's still there.

13. Like I said, I ALMOST gave up on them....
If they insist on boosting dangerous millenarian fuckwads like Santorum, they're gonna have at leat one fewer subscriber.

That is the Washington office, if you call 212 556 1234 they'll hook you to a voice mail, this way you can yell at someone higher up.
