I donated to Kucinch - warts & all, he represents ALL of us.
Like most candidates I end up supporting, he will probably have to drop out due to his lack of beauty.

Someday, this country will emerge again as a place with ideals outside of what we see. Until that day comes, we will watch candidates like Dennis be brushed aside. It will likely be an inevitability that he drops from the race, but if most of you are honest with yourselves, you KNOW he represents your opinions as a whole better than ALL of the other candidates.

Fight the good fight Mr. Kucinich. :loveya:

1. He may represent YOU
he doesn't represent 'all' of anybody.

And 'beauty' has nothing to do with it.

His policies make a great deal of sense. He wants us to stop digging that hole to China into which the American worker is being pitched.

As to fruitcake, that sort of mindless repetition is not an argument, regardless of what Michael Palin says.

List the fruitcake policies, if you can.

25. It this were Canada...
...there is no doubt in my mind that Dennis would be the leader of Canada's New Democratic Party. He's a good man, with good politics, and the NDP is a great political party. For me, Kucinich represents what I wish our Democratic party was. I haven't supported him this year ONLY because I don't believe he has a chance to win the nomination, let alone the general election. Bush is just too dangerous to the future of this country to allow me the luxury of supporting a candidate that I do not believe can win. But I am glad that you are supporting him. And I sincerely wish that I were too.

30. Elk Hunter, if everyone who said
"He's my favorite but he can't win" would vote for Dennis, he would win.

I swear, I have heard that statement so many times that I figure there must be twice as many deep-down Dennis fans who are compromising by supporting someone else as there are people who are willing to name Dennis as their first choice.

47. Yes, TRUTH HURTS! It's been said here so many times "Kucinich

is who I'd vote for if I thought he could win, but Dean/ Kerry/ Clark/ Edwards/ Gephardt/ Lieberman is more electable." We MAKE people electable by supporting them.

If everybody plays it safe with their primary votes, how can we get the best candidate?

Vote your heart!

31. I will support the nominee Elk - we have a long way to go.
I'm completely realistic about Dennis' chances. His continued involvement in the process is CRUCIAL to keeping the rest of the nominees honest until the primaries.

I agree with many others - if he doesn't get the nomination, he deserves a place in the next Democratic administration. He's truly a GOOD person with idealistic beliefs and opinions that the soft-money Democrats can't fathom. Holy Joe is thy name.

34. Kucinich would make a great Labor Secretary...
...and it's still a long time until our Democratic caucuses here in Washington State. Perhaps by then my conscience will get the better of me and I will end up supporting Kucinich. Who know? After all, I supported Jesse Jackson in '88 and I knew that he also had no chance of winning. I did so in the belief that by supporting him we could move the Democrats further to the left.

36. Canada has national health care...
...because of the NDP. They also have much better labor laws. It's true that the NDP has never won a federal election, but they have won on the provincial level and that's where the health system got started under NDP governments (the Canadian federal government is much weaker than it is in the U.S.). And because of the parlimentary system in Canada the NDP has had influence on the federal level. Many of the things that Kucinich advocates are a reality in Canada, not left wing pipe dreams.
