Hillary Clinton challenge him or her in 2008?

1. I hope not.
If we win in 2004, I hope the Dem pres makes most of us happy, so there won't be a nomination fight in 2008. If the Dem is a very good pres and Hillary challenges him or her anyway, I'd really lose respect for her. We should be united behind our imcumbant in 2008 if we win in 2004, as long as that incumbant is not pissing us all off.

2. No
She knows she'll get wiped challenging a sitting prez. Her window of opportunity -- narrow as it may be -- is now, next one is in 2012.

7. And don't you love it how the conservative pundits on TV
always talk about her running in 2008? As in, "If Hillary doesn't run in 2004, she definately will in 2008."

That is planting the seeds of a 2-term Bush administration, and nothing else. They say 2008 because Bush winning in 2004 is a given to them. At least, they want it to look like a given to the rest of the country.

4. I think it depends how well
the new prez (God I hope) does the job. The only reason I can see for her to challenge a successful Demo prez would be ego.

If we win in 04, we have our work cut out for us. I truly think we're in the worst shape since 1976, maybe even since 1932. It's not just that I disagree with Bush* - hell I disagreed with his dad, but never worried about the state of our union. This guy is either incompetent, crazy, or both, and is supported by a powerful, corrupt structure.

5. Don't you think. . . . . .
it would be difficult for Hillary to challenge herself?
