When is this Clark feeding frenzy going to be over? |
|
The back and forth of the Clark supporters and the Dean supporters over Clark's entry into the race could make a body think they were going to decide the nomination all by themselves through invictive. I'm a Dean support and I don't have anything against Clark jumping in. It comes down to getting people to vote for a person, over another person. The beltway whores love this kind of frenzy. It improves their ratings momentarily. They have something to say that allows them to ignore the rank foolishness of their own project, the smirking chimp. All of this will pass, just like Hurricane Isabel, and unlike Isabel, little permenent harm is done. Clark may be able to me to vote for him, over Dean. Since I live in California, the race may have already been decided by the time I do get to vote. But, it will be decided by voters, in booths, not by spewing invictive on these boards.

The man just declared three or four days ago. What you've got going on right now are all the mindless Clark groupies being just ecstatic, all the equally mindless Clark detracters and haters being sour, and a lot of inbetween people who are actually interested in learning what Clark is all about so they can make an informed decision about him.
It's also extremely important to remember that those who post here on DU are not real representative of the real world out there. On the whole we're more committed, more activist, and (hopefully) more informed than a lot of others. Our collective flaw is that we are sometimes intolerant of each others' views, and too many here have gotten into a lot of bashing of one candidate or another.
When it comes to the primaries and caucuses, we will be a drop in the bucket.

3. When the right-wing stops their assault upon his character ? |
|
He will have his defenders, which will only make him stronger, so long as the right-wingers continue to try to destroy him, because they are scared to death of him...

6. Yeah, but will the LEFT wing stop? I don't think so |

...more's the pity. Gosh what a lovely little alliance we've got going between the zealots on the right and the zealots on the left. What a touching reconciliation Clark's candidacy seems to have brought about. After having read umpty-hundred threads about Nader's supposed collusion with the GOP for taking out Gore, it sure looks like there's ample of material for similar theories here. Not that I expect anyone to take that position.
I am starting to despair.

probably in October. He's the new guy on the block, so everyone has to reshuffle and make room for one more possibility.
My favorite possibility is Dean!

7. Clark's entry really places limits on the freepers... |
|
resources. They still have to go after Dean, Kerry, Hillary, and Kucinich. Even Freepers have limitations...LOL!
